first time I heard britney I was at a sleep over where people had brought
their computers, so they could
hook them all together and have a quake tournament.
One of those guys there {I
wont say his name so I wont embarrass him} had the –baby one more time- Video on his computer.
Right when he got there he watched it once, that was fine, I
didn’t think the song
Was anything special, or the
video either, or the singer for that matter. I actually
Thought she was pretty
talentless, but she was in this catholic school girl outfit
So I knew she would be a big hit.
She danced like a stripper too, so I knew it would
Not be long till she was posing
for posters like a playboy model should.
Anyways, the guy watched the video like 10 times, each time
commenting on how beautiful she was, I didn’t even know her name at this time.
I have had the stupid song memorized since that night.
After everyone was done playing quake he watched the video about a
million more
Times. He talked about how he had
written britney a very nice letter and how she
Never responded, he was even
surprised she didn’t write back.
I never understood why he would think she would write back to him,
or why he was infatuated with her in the first place.
All I have seen her do so far is put on a ditsy, sexually
suggestive attitude and
Call herself a role model.
I haven’t often seen a worse role model.
She knows that young girls all over look up to her, want to be
like her and she still behaves the way she does.
At the peak of her success I could hardly believe she got breast
implants, and she thought no one would notice, she still denies it to this day
to my knowledge.
As it came time for her 18th birthday I was almost sure
she would do playboy, I am
Still waiting for it.
When she says she is promoting self confidence, actually what I
think she is doing is putting the Barbie doll complex to all those 12 year olds
who make up a large percent of her Fan base.
It amazes me that people would buy her music, her t shirts posters
and whatever
Else. I find her annoying to no
end, and by buying her stuff it will just keep her around longer.
I certainly hope she is a fad and will be on her way out soon.
After all, you can only use the same beat for so many songs before
people get
Sick of you.
